Built on evaluation, development, training and results.
Every Academy player starts with an evaluation and a player score.
Priorities come from what each player actually needs to improve.
Players are re-evaluated so progress can be measured.
Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced groups.
Competitive, motivating and encouraging coaching.
Players train with Net Burners regardless of the school, club, AAU organization or team they play for. You do not have to play for Impact Sportz to train here.

If you are looking for basketball training in Cedar Park, Net Burners Academy trains boys and girls from 3rd grade through high school at Reagan Elementary, 1700 E Park St. Academy sessions run on Wednesdays, and every player starts the same way: with an evaluation. Before any training plan is written, we watch the player, assess where they are, and give them a player score. That score becomes the starting point for a personalized development plan, so the training that follows matches the player in front of us instead of a generic curriculum.
Players are grouped by skill level — Beginner, Intermediate, or Advanced — so the pace and the instruction fit where your child actually is, not just their grade or age. We do not stop at the first evaluation either. Progress is tracked as players train, and each player is brought back through a re-evaluation so you can see what has improved and where the plan needs to shift. That is the difference between youth basketball training that builds on itself and an hour in the gym that does not.
Net Burners Academy is a training program, not an AAU team, and that distinction matters for how families use it. Your child does not have to leave their school team, club, or rec league to train with us, and they do not have to play for Impact Sportz. Come develop skills on Wednesdays and take everything built here back to whatever team your player already calls home. There is no roster to join and no travel schedule to commit to — just weekly, focused work on the specific things that player needs.
Cedar Park is home, and families travel to us from Round Rock, Leander, Liberty Hill, Georgetown, and North Austin looking for a basketball trainer their player can see every week without disrupting current team commitments. If you are deciding whether this is the right fit, fill out the form above and our team will walk you through how the evaluation works and which group would suit your player.
