Impact Sportz is proud to announce it will start running Austin Preschool basketball camps for players aged 5 to 8-year-olds girls and boys. This program will be called Little Hoopers.
Little Hoopers will be the building blocks to becoming a great player. Our class will run for an hour, going over the basics and playing some games. We haven’t decided on the dates. We are looking for input from the community to see the interest in this class. Please fill out the form to be notified when we will start the classes.
What will this class do for your kid?
How are classes are structured to help young players build basketball ball-handling skills, shooting, defense, and learning the game of basketball. Our program will give out reversible jerseys to all of our players. At the end of the season, upon completing all of the skill sets we are teaching, players will receive a Little Hoopers medal.
Here are some tips on training your young player.
Round Handling Fundamentals and Drills
These are the drills:
